Joe Bibby

Joe Bibby is Creative Director and Full Stack Developer at Helios Solutions, an engineering company in Houston that builds software and embedded systems for space exploration. The work sits exactly where he likes it: where a hard technical problem needs a designer’s eye.

Different tools, same job — telling a story clearly.

The rest of the practice is wider. He is Chief Creative Officer of an independent studio, Driven Catalyst that ships games and an award-honored podcast; he photographs landscapes, flies cameras over Texas wetlands, has cut films for NASA, keeps a church website running on Sundays, and built a little e-ink plugin that serves up a daily quote from Merlin Mann’s Wisdom Project. Different disciplines; one habit of craft.
